Philosophy and Objectives

Welcome to the New London Christian Preschool!  Children are the greatest gift that God has given us.  We thank you for the opportunity to help your children grow and expand their world in a safe and nurturing environment.  For many of your children this is their first school experience and we will strive to make it a pleasant and memorable one for you and for them.

Purposeful play is at the heart of all learning at New London Christian Preschool.  We believe young children master skills, solve problems, discover new concepts and learn how to get along with others while playing.  We offer developmentally appropriate experiences, meeting the children's individual needs.  Learning will be facilitated to allow the children to explore their environment and interact with their peers. It will create a unique balance between all areas of development: spiritually, socially, emotionally, physically, and intellectually.   

As a Christian preschool, bible stories are often included in the study units and themes.  We will promote experiences that encourage the children to discover the order and beauty of God's world.  Using the Bible, which we believe is God's inspired word; we demonstrate the practical and model as well as encourage how the children can adapt those Christian values into their daily lives.  "Train up a child in the way he should go..."   (Proverbs 22:6)

The preschool is designed as an outreach and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, or tuition assistance programs.

New London Christian Preschool is exempt from state licensing status, however, we do voluntarily comply with all state licensing requirements and commit to on-going monitoring for compliance.
